Iris Over Rooftops

Poems

Iris, goddess of the rainbow. Between earth and heaven. Between sun and rain.

...I made him as I wanted him
His lips uttering nothing
But my words....

Grey blocks, agressive angles
Solid lights, my mind in tangles
Unfeeling heights...

Elephants with spindly legs...

Trees stand inside the circle
Black sharp branches, rough against the sky...

...Coloured darkly and softly seen
All muted and mute...

...as you suck sensuously on your slippery meal...

Blustering and raw, we sailed upon her...
